Challenge #14
This card is for 3 challenges. Bah! Humbug! is having us play with candycanes this week (I'd much rather be eating them!). CHNC wants circles, and Less is More is asking for a one layer card that focuses on the sentiment. So, this is what I came up with. The candycane "j" is a glitter rub-on from Hobby Lobby - Paper House Productions' Deck the Halls sheet (glitter doesn't show up much in the pic, though). The rest of the letters and holly are stamped and colored with water color pencils. Stickles were added to the holly berries and the ribbon is satin. If time allows, I'll do another candycane card - I'd like to try and make one that's a little more detailed, I think. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

A very clever idea. Well done! Kate x
ReplyDeleteIts never to early to begin those Christmas cards. It helps to avoid the last minute all-nighters where one is up making the last of the cards to get in the mail before its too late. LOL

What a great idea, what a great card, nice to see a bit of colour, for some reason we all, me included, all seem to go for black & white in these challenges. This card would be in my top 3.
