Christmas will be here before we realize, so I guess it's time to get started on some cards. I've been following CHNC's challenge blog for some time; just haven't had much time to participate. I must say, the ladies over there have been making some beautiful cards! This card is for CHNC's bell challenge and also for Crop Chocolate's weekly challenge, which is to be monochromatic (white and black are OK to add, though). I went with different greens and used a cricut (winter collection trim the tree cartridge) to cut out the bell image. The sentiment is MM alphabet charms painted white, with the indented letters painted green using acrylic paints. Paper is EP Holly Jolly Christmas.
Thank you for stopping by!

Love Birds - Crop Chocolate non traditional valentine challenge

Less is More Punches or Die Cuts Challenge

The center plaid square was made with a stripe stamp and three different colors of green. I stamped then rotated 90 degrees and stamped again to achieve a plaid design. The edges of the white background cardstock were cut with pinking shears and the square mounted on a darker green square with inked edges. I ran the hearts and hand cut stems through my Xyron then put the shamrocks together on the plaid square and card base. Some stickles were added for sparkle.
As always, thanks for looking at this card!

CHNC Challenge 58, LIM Aqua Challenge
The base is aqua Bazzill card stock, and snowflakes are cut out of vellum with pearls added to the centers. For the "winter", I used a letterpress and white paint. I sprinkled fine, clear glitter over the printed area while still wet to give it a more snowy feel. It is quite simple, but I think it is effective.
Thanks for taking a look!

Last Bah!Humbug! challenge - Cute Critters

Now, on to the last card:
For this challenge, we are asked to use a cute critter. I have used a house mouse stamp (it was actually a fall stamp that I altered a bit to make it more Christmassy) colored with copics. I mounted it on some patterned paper (cut out holly leaves and berries from the same paper to cover the fall leaves on the stamped image) and added snowflake brads. Some rhinestones were added to the corners of the red card base and a sentiment tied with bakers twine finished off the card. I hope you like the card and, as always, thank you for stopping by to take a look. I really appreciate all your comments and helpful suggestions!
