buttons and up-cycled flowers

This card was made for two challenges: CHNC's button challenge and Crop Chocolate's up-cycled flowers challenge. For the flowers, I used some old sheet music from high school voice lessons. (I never liked this piece, so it was easy to cut it into flowers.) After die cutting the flowers and leaves, I inked the pieces with distress ink and sprayed with glimmer mist for a little sparkle - hard to see in this picture, though. The sentiment is made using a simple brown rub-on alphabet set. I thought it sort of went with the music sheet flowers.
This was a fun card to make; thanks for taking a look!

  1. Lovely card - love the flowers (the music paper is just right for them) and the buttons - thanks for joining in my CHNC challenge 64 - hope to see you again soon. x

  2. Beautiful card, great design, Jx
