White, black and a touch of color

This card is for the CHNC white, black and one other color challenge. I used mostly scraps for this one. The top panel is made using the outer frame from a nestie that was cut out, placed over a vellum piece with an added vellum snowflake border (cut out using a sizzix die). I added some red satin ribbon and gems to the border, stuck on some vellum snowflakes (Martha Stewart punch) with gems in the centers, and added a rub-on glitter sentiment. The panel was then placed on blank white cardstock and attached to a black card. It has a little more dimension than shows up on the pic. I hope you like it, and thanks for taking a look!

  1. Oh I love the delicate white vellum against the black and red - very effective and stylish. Thanks for joining in my CHNC challenge 32 - hope to see you for the new challenge that starts tomorrow. x
