Challenge #7

This week on Bah! Humbug! we were challenged to use a CD or DVD in our Christmas design. I went ahead and decorated an old CD to use as a tree decoration. Hope you like it.

The front of this tree decoration is painted (free-hand) using Copic pens. I then glued a scrap of snowflake paper to the back of the disk. Next, a cut-out of a winter scene was added to the front of the CD, in the center, and stickles were added to three of the snowflakes on the back of the CD. Finally, a small hole was punched using a Crop-a-dile, and I added the ribbon. Thanks for looking at this week's challenge entry!

  1. Ruth this is fabulous and I love your display stand - the CD looks perfect hanging on there - it doesn't need to be on a tree. Very ingenious idea - love it.

PS - how brave were you painting straight on to the CD - wow - I would have made a right mess of that.
