Challenge #6

The Bah! Humbug! challenge for this week is doilies. Well, I haven't used doilies in many years so off to the store I went in search of them. (They weren't hard to find...in the baking section) As you will see from looking at my card, I only used a couple of pieces as corner accents.



I used an Inkadinkado clear stamp from the Ornate Christmas set for the sentiment, glittered with Martha Stewart's gold glitter. I then added white doilies to two corners and mounted it on gold shimmer paper. All was put on a red card base. Very simple, but I'm quite pleased with the results. I hope you like it, too.

    A lovely card Ruth - I think the doilies make a fantastic corner accent on your card. Quite a few of our participants have used them in this way and it is effective.

    Hi Ruth ... your card would still be lovely without them, but the corner doily accents, whilst a small detail, make a huge difference. Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug!
