An anti stat bag definitely helps and some people say used tumble drier sheets work too. Also try not to touch the card where you are going to stamp as fingers leave a trace of oil(?) on the card and that's what the embossing powder clings to. I use a fine brush to scoop up any bits but sometimes heating from underneath helps too.
Anyway your card turned out just great and I'm sure your husband will love it.
Thank you so much for sharing with us again at Humbug Hall.
Ann and Max alias the Humbuggers.
Bah! As for embossing, I always swipe the card first with an antistatic bag - it really does help - thanks for joining in my CHNC challenge 44 - hope to see you again soon. xHazelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18408142264632395495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6300563566680625240.post-71826644821501079652011-11-03T02:55:12.357-05:002011-11-03T02:55:12.357-05:00Hi. I have this stamp too.
As for the embossing. I do use an anti-static bag to swipe the card first, and for black silhouettes which can be tricky, I use versafine ink. It is oil based so stays wet a little longer and it gives such a good image, even for fine detail, so I can then emboss with clear powder which is less obvious if a few specks do go astray.
Hope that helps.
