CHNC's Home for Christmas challenge

This card is for CHNC's Home for Christmas challenge. We are to use a house (or part of one) somewhere on our card. I have used Echo Park papers and some rub-ons from Michaels, as well as DecoArt snow writer. This was combined with the CropChocolate challenge, which was to use packaging materials. The clear plastic "window" is packaging from a pack of Glazed Brads.
It was a fun challenge! Thanks for looking!

buttons and up-cycled flowers

This card was made for two challenges: CHNC's button challenge and Crop Chocolate's up-cycled flowers challenge. For the flowers, I used some old sheet music from high school voice lessons. (I never liked this piece, so it was easy to cut it into flowers.) After die cutting the flowers and leaves, I inked the pieces with distress ink and sprayed with glimmer mist for a little sparkle - hard to see in this picture, though. The sentiment is made using a simple brown rub-on alphabet set. I thought it sort of went with the music sheet flowers.
This was a fun card to make; thanks for taking a look!

CHNC Challenge 61, LIM scrappy card

This card is for CHNC's challenge to add ribbon or charms and LIM's challenge to use scraps. Everything on this card is from the scrap box except the white card base and star charms. I used a circle nestie to cut out around a scalloped nestie leftover and placed it over the center "Joy" circle that was a practice heat embossing piece. I didn't have any narrow ribbon, so instead I pulled out some scrap embroidery floss to hand stitch around the white circle and added star charms to the ends.
I always like using up leftovers, and like a little sparkle, too.
Thanks for taking a look.
